• You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number to use any calculator.
• Your inputs and your My bill list stay in your browser.
• We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure those ads.

Home Kilowatt saves your selected state, and the appliances you add to My bill, in your browser's local storage so they're there when you come back. That information isn't sent to us. You can delete it any time with the "Clear My bill" button or by clearing your browser's site data.

Links you share with the "Share link" button contain the calculator's inputs in the URL. Anyone you send the link to can see those inputs.

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads), or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. We don't use analytics cookies, and the site runs no analytics script. We use Google Search Console, which reports how our pages appear in Google Search from Google's own search data; it adds no script or cookie to this site. The only third-party script on Home Kilowatt is Google AdSense, described above.

If a website embeds a Home Kilowatt calculator, the calculator runs from homekilowatt.com and this policy applies to it. The embedding site's own policy applies to the rest of its page.

If you email us at hello@homekilowatt.com, we use your address and message only to reply. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Home Kilowatt isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

When this policy changes, we update the effective date above and note the change in the changelog.
